Artists Studio Tour 2007

Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21, 2007
10am - 4pm

Most studios are also open throughout the year by appointment.  See individual artist's pages for more details.

Artists will be opening their studios to educate the public about the processes of creating art.

To see samples of the artists' work and their statements please follow the navigation links at the right.

New this year is the Google Tour Map. All 41 studios are listed, and much of Port Townsend has been mapped by satellite, so you can zoom and see individual buildings, using the "hybrid view", if you have a high speed connection. Locations may be a bit imprecise, since the Google engine seems to have its own ideas about spelling local streets.

The beautiful seaport of Port Townsend has traditionally attracted artists who find inspiration in the rural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. Today, several hundred professional artists make their home here while exhibiting their work in major cities across the nation and around the world. APT is proud to present the 9th annual APT Artist Studio Tour, featuring 41 studios in the greater Port Townsend area.. There is no charge to tour the studios.

Professional artists working in oils, watercolors, acrylics, pastels, printmaking, sculpture, foundry pours, ceramics, woodworking, fabric arts, glass and a variety of mixed media will open their studios for demonstrations and display of works.

This annual event is a "must see" for regional artists and art lovers.
