Demonstration:
Visitors will see a wide variety of colorful fleece (most processed locally.) There will be a hands-on demonstration that will show how I make felt items.
Directions to studio:
Down San Juan towards North Beach. Just before Blue Heron school make a left turn onto a small dirt road signed as 37th St. First driveway on right. Park in parking lot. Walk down to house (studio is on right of house.)
Artist statement:
I have ben working with felt for about seven years. I find felt to be a wonderfully forgiving medium. Unpredictable events turn into fiber arts. I enjoy making pieces that are functional.
